Beacon, NY

No photos allowed inside The Dia. Eh, I took some anyway. The train ticket for the 80min trip and entry into The Dia costs $33.50. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon! After our visit to The Dia, we found lots of cute little shops on Main Street...my favorite being Clay, Wood and Cotton. They have screen printed tea towels, things made from yarn that have eyes, uneven pottery and lots of little prints. Nice. And just we thought we were at the end of Main Street we found The Roundhouse. We grabbed a bite there and enjoyed the falls. This sleepy little art community has lots going on their mile long Main Street strip. There are a bunch of galleries. Some are better than others and some that just weren't open. Boo. Next time!
