I met Peter and Jody in Williamsburg for brunch. We ended up at The Rabbit Hole. We got a great, outside table with no wait. Then, we did a little shopping (candy, handmade $500 denim jeans, fancy dresses, shampoo for bald people, etc.) and eventually ended up at McCarren Park. We laid around and chatted about whatever. It was ordinary and perfect. We spotted Lana Del Ray in a tattoo shop, got our pictures taken in a dive bar photo booth and grabs some beers. Somehow...we had occupied 4 or 5 hours. It was time for dinner. The sun inspired us to have a BBQ on the terrace at Peter and Jody's. If you know NYC, you know how special having this kind of outdoor space is. We took pictures, got out the binoculars and laser pointer as the sun went down, exercised the cat, grilled sausage and split one giant cupcake 3 ways. It was a good Sunday.
