Last night, a couple of us got together at the cabin to relax, swim and eat up some lobster! Maegen and Jay brought jalepeno poppers made with peppers from their garden. They were deathly hot and even got Marin's eyes watering! We were all able to sit outside comfortably, (note the new oak table I scored at a yard sale this weekend). Last year, we managed to fit around the table in the kitchen but, everyone needs a little extra room when there are shells to be cracked and lemons to be squeezed. After dinner we had some dessert. No one was tasked with bringing dessert parts but, somehow we ended up with: Maple Blondie and Vanilla Ben and Jerry's ice cream, 3 kinds of fudge (heath bar, key lime and tiger), chopped hazelnuts, sprinkles, whipped cream, hot fudge and warm cookies! No cherries though...
